Pogradec at the lake Ohrid
Our retreat is placed outside of Pogradec at the southbank of the Ohrid lake.
Lake Ohrid is one of the oldest lakes in Europe, has an area of 358 km² and is located at an altitude of 695 m above sea It is surrounded by a high mountain chain.
Accommodation Information
Nehemia Guesthouse:
Just a 20-minute lakeside stroll from the charming Pogradec, Nehemia Guesthouse is nestled in lush gardens, right by the water.
Timetable:
**If you’ve booked a transfer, we’ll meet at 8:30 am in front of Tirana University, at Mother Teresa Square (parking spots nearby) heading to Pogradec,
Lake Ohrid**. On the way we´ll make a coffee stop at a nice natural restort.
Friday – Arrival and Relaxation
11:30 – 12:00 – Arrival & Check-In at Nehemia Guesthouse, Lake Ohrid.
12:30 – 13:00 – Stroll to the City of Pogradec along the lakeside.
13:00 – 14:00 – Lunch at a lakeside restaurant with regional specialties.
14:00 – 15:00 – Walk back to Nehemia & Meditation along the lakeside.
15:00 – 16:30 – Free Time: relax and enjoy the lake or the lush gardens.
16:30 – 18:00 – Vinyasa Flow & Hatha Yoga to ease tensions.
19:00 – Dinner: enjoy a nutritious and delicious 3-course dinner with the group.
Saturday – Empowerment & Renewal
8:00 – 9:00 – Breakfast.
9:00 – 9:30 – Morning Meditation.
9:30 – 10:00 – Vinyasa Yoga to awaken the body for self-defense training.
10:00 – 11:30 – Self-defense techniques, focusing on confidence and awareness.
11:30 – 12:30 – Reflection & Sharing: useful tips, wellness drinks.
12:30-14:00 – Light, healthy locally inspired lunch.
14:00 – 16:30 – Free Time: relax, swim in the lake, or enjoy a drink at the beach.
16:30 – 18:00 – Restorative Hatha Yoga to restore balance and flexibility.
19:30 – 21:00- Dinner: enjoy a locally inspired 3-course dinner with the group.
Sunday – Grounding & Reflection
8:00 – 9:00 – Breakfast.
9:00 – 9:30 – Morning Meditation: guided meditation to prepare for the day.
9:30 – 10:00 – Vinyasa Flow Yoga Warm-Up.
10:00 – 11:30 – Further practice of self-defense techniques learned on Saturday.
12:30 – 14:00 – Lunch: a light, healthy locally-inspired lunch.
14:00 – 15:30 – Wrapping Up & Group Reflection with cake, coffee and tea.
15:30 – Departure Head back to Tirana, carrying new strength and balance.
What to Bring
- Comfortable clothes for yoga and exercises, sportshoes.
- Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and beach towel.
- Swimsuit and beachwear for free time.
